Nurse Practitioner Urology – Renown Health & UNR Med

Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Urology Section of the Department of Surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, consult, and treat Urology patients in outpatient clinic.
• Provide first assistance in the operating room during surgical procedures such as tissue manipulation, suturing, and bleeding management.
• Complete daily hospital rounds for admitted Urology patients.
• Attend all postoperative follow‑up appointments.
• Use Epic EMR for documentation and patient care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Urology experience and/or Prior Surgery Assistant experience.
• First Assist Certification required (APRNs).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills working with a team of MDs and advanced practice providers.
