RN - NICU

The Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU is responsible for providing optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent will be accountable for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care, providing comprehensive nursing services to patients and their families.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the Neonatal ICU.
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed.
• Provide educational support to families and caregivers.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in the continuous mental effort required for safe patient care.

• Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in Level 3 NICU or higher.
• Ventilator training required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, NRP.
