Job NotesTravel or local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunities – RN IMC- Work 12‑hour night shifts with 3x12 schedule
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No call requirements
- Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required
- Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred
- Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, neuro stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management
- Required to pass ECG/Telemetry competency exam including reading/interpreting rhythm strips
- Nevada RN license required prior to start
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
- May be required to float to other units based on competency level
- May be required to work major holidays
- Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
- Care for patients with severe but non‑life threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments and intensive therapies
- Treat patients with post‑ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory conditions
- Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts based on department needs
The 18‑bed intermediate care unit focuses on individuals experiencing severe but usually non‑life threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments and intensive therapies. The facility is the region’s only Level II Trauma Center between Sacramento and Salt Lake City, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually. CompensationPay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
