This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Variable shifts including 3 x 12 hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Schedule may include weekends and holidays as needed.
This position provides optimal patient care using knowledge and skills in nursing processes. The Registered Nurse is responsible for individualized patient outcomes across the entire episode of care. Duties include providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, along with their families and caregivers.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
- Plan and implement appropriate nursing interventions for patient care.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Coordinate care among multidisciplinary teams when needed.
- Meet age-specific competency standards for patient demographics served.
- Must have a valid NV RN license prior to starting.
- BLS certification is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of RN surgery/recovery experience is needed.
