Position Overview
Nurse Practitioner - Crisis Care Center
Renown Health is Nevada's largest locally owned, not-for-profit health network, serving a population of over 750,000 in northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and northeast California. This new Crisis Care Center will provide assistance and resources to individuals experiencing mental health challenges and crises.
Position Details- Full‑time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider.
- Dedicated team including NPs, RNs, LCSW, Peer Support Specialists, and Security Officer.
- Address significant community need and improve access to mental health and addiction treatment by connecting adults to the right care.
- Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
- Maintain communication with patients treated at the Crisis Care Center for at least one year to track recidivism and progress of care coordination.
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC.
- Formal academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine / Renown.
- Guaranteed salary – MGMA Nurse Practitioner based on experience.

- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as an RN.

- Licensure: ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure, Controlled Substance License, and DEA as a Nurse Practitioner.
