Experienced Registered Nurse - Eligible

Renown Health is offering a Knowledge Bonus up to $30,000 to any bedside Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience within their specialty.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care and provides comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

The incumbent diagnoses and treats human responses to health problems, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients and their families. The role demonstrates an understanding of cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to each population and meets standards of quality as measured by unit and department standards. The RN coordinates care with other professionals as needed and maintains continuous mental effort to provide optimal, safe patient care and to interact with internal and external contacts while exercising judgments and making decisions.

• Education:
  
  Working‑level knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, speaking) and appropriate education to obtain and maintain a Registered Nursing licensure in the State of Nevada.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse within the specialty.
• License(s):
  Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license.
• Certification(s):
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification as required by department.
  • Other required certifications (e.g., NRP, PALS, ENPC, TNCC) as specified by each department, to be obtained within specified time frames after hire.
• Computer/Typing:
  Must possess or obtain within 90 days the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements, access online forms and policies, and complete online benefits enrollment.
