Seeking an experienced RN skilled in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing to provide high-quality care in a dynamic surgical setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to collaborate with an expert team and make a meaningful impact in patient outcomes.

Key

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a CVOR setting
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for cardiac and vascular surgical cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of surgical safety procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high acuity environment
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period, ensuring optimal safety and care
• Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for CVOR cases
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with standards and policies
  
  Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff
• Support post-operative recovery and communicate critical information with the care team
• Contribute to infection control and adherence to all safety and regulatory protocols
