ER TECH, Part Time

Responsibilities

Assist with basic patient care needs based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse. Maintain an environment that is prepared for patient care.

• Provides supportive care to the Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
• Takes, documents and reports vital signs, and reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
• Transports patients to other departments and inpatient units as necessary.
• Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.

• Current EMT or CNA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience in an acute care setting.
