As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you'll care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of pregnancy—from triage and antepartum care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum transition. Whether supporting a routine birth, managing a high-risk pregnancy, or responding to an obstetrical emergency, you'll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional outcomes for both mother and baby.

Our Women's Services team is one of the region's premier destinations for maternal care, delivering approximately 4,200 babies annually and caring for hundreds of patients each month throughout their pregnancy journey.

Our Unit Features
  • 15 Labor & Delivery suites
  • 6 dedicated OB Triage beds
  • 9 Antepartum beds for high-risk and preterm patients
  • 3-bed Post-Anesthesia Recovery Unit
  • Dedicated Obstetrical Emergency Department for pregnancy-related evaluations and treatment
  • Collaborative care model with OB/GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, Physician Assistants, Neonatal teams, and Women's Services specialists
Our team manages approximately:
  • More than 100 Cesarean deliveries monthly
  • Hundreds of OB triage evaluations each month for pregnancy-related concerns, complications, and emergent needs
What You'll Do

As a Labor & Delivery RN, you'll provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the childbirth experience, including:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care.
  • Monitoring maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
  • Caring for patients experiencing routine, high-risk, and emergent obstetrical conditions.
  • Supporting antepartum patients requiring specialized monitoring and interventions.
  • Assisting with vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
  • Providing immediate recovery care following delivery and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
  • Educating and supporting patients and families throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and recovery.
  • Serving as an advocate for mothers, newborns, and families during every stage of care.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain Nevada RN licensure
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire
  • NRP certification within six months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of RN experience in acute care or women's focused care center.
  • Labor & Delivery, Women's Services, Mother-Baby, Antepartum, NICU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department experience
  • Experience caring for high-risk obstetrical patients
  • Strong fetal monitoring and maternal assessment skills
  • Passion for family-centered care and patient advocacy
