Position: RN PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Full Time

Job Overview

Sierra Medical Center, part of the Northern Nevada Health System, is a 170‑bed acute care hospital serving the greater Truckee‑Meadows area. We are seeking an RN Program Coordinator for a full‑time, 40‑hour role. The candidate will provide direct patient care to adult populations within the surgical environment, coordinate with physicians and vendors on implants and supplies, ensure operating rooms are equipped and ready, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

The RN Program Coordinator will engage in the following activities:

  • Responsible for a specified service line, managing supplies, physician relations and satisfaction, vendor relations, and staff education
  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with health team members, and adjust nursing processes to ensure optimal care
  • Act as a liaison to specific vendors, coordinate flow of materials, and collaborate with Sterile Processing to meet patient and physician needs
  • Assist in policy review and physician order sets
  • Train all nursing staff in the service line

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in Nevada
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum of three years operating room experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
