Registered Nurse - Cardiology Unit - Night Shift

Sierra Medical Center, part of the Northern Nevada Health System, is a 170‑bed acute care hospital serving the greater Truckee Meadows. The facility provides 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, oncology, labor and delivery, a level II NICU, surgical, orthopedic services and more.

As a registered nurse, you will provide safe, competent care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Your responsibilities include delivering professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. You will employ the concepts of Patient‑Centered Care, involve patients and families in psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and cultural considerations, construct and implement individualized plans of care, and coordinate interdisciplinary plans for assigned patients.

Consistently completing hourly rounds strengthens nurse communication, improves safety, and anticipates patient needs such as pain management, repositioning, and toileting.

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
• Current Nursing License in Nevada.
• Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute‑care setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
