This Senior ED Technician opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual that will assist with direct patient care needs based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse. Maintains an environment that is prepared for patient care.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides supportive care to Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
- Takes, documents, and reports vital signs. Reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
- Transports patients to other departments and inpatient units as necessary.
- Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.
