American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (Nights) position at a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Reno, NV, requiring a minimum of 2 years of high-risk L&D experience and an active NV RN license.

• High-risk OB unit with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites
• 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• May be required to float to other maternal units, including Postpartum and NICU, up to competency level
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• No on-call requirements outside of scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting; training provided during orientation or candidates may test out
• Kronos used for time keeping

• Active NV RN license required prior to start; RNs who have never held a NV temp or perm license may still be considered and must apply immediately upon offer
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP; STABLE preferred
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a high-risk hospital setting
• 13-week contract duration

• Extremely busy, fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius with the volume and pace comparable to a Level I Trauma Center, though designated as a Level II
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• A minimum of 2 major holidays will be required
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must complete a 13-week break after their contract ends before returning, regardless of how many extensions were completed
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; time is not added to the end of the contract to make up for approved RTO
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
