The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical ICU is responsible for providing optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent will be accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care, delivering comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop care plans to meet the specific needs of patients.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and involve family members in care discussions.
- Maintain high standards of care while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous professional development and maintain clinical competencies.
- Minimum 2 years of medical ICU experience is required.
- NV RN license is required prior to start.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
