- Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward with an average census of 16-18 patients
- Perform newborn nursery examinations and manage admitted newborns
- Conduct pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including subspecialists and intensivists
- Participate in teaching residents and medical students in an academic environment
- Engage in high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care aligned with hospital and Pediatrix standards
- Work closely with a dedicated PICU team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to a hospital offering a Level II Trauma Center services in northern Nevada
- Nevada medical license required
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification necessary
- Minimum 2+ years of pediatric hospitalist experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
