Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide optimal patient care utilizing their knowledge and skills within the nursing process. The incumbent will be accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the care continuum. Comprehensive nursing services will be delivered to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families or caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provide patient education and support family involvement in care.
- Demonstrate understanding of cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to patient demographics.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience.
- Valid NV RN license required prior to start.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including rhythm strip identification and measurement.
