Job Description:

This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care, providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed.
• Meet standards of quality as measured by unit/department age-specific competency standards.
• Involve family members or significant others in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation efforts.

• 2+ years of Med/Surg/Tele experience required.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS.
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips.
