Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Oncology unit. The RN will provide optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process, ensuring individual patient outcomes are met throughout the episode of care. This role includes providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, along with their families and caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for oncology patients.
- Administer various chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens as required.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain an ongoing commitment to learning and professional development.
- Engage with patients and families to explain care plans and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current NV RN license required prior to start.
- BLS certification required; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Oncology.
