Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry unit provides optimal patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and skills. The nurse is responsible for individualized patient outcomes throughout their episode of care, catering to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, along with their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for effectively managing telemetry patients.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide comprehensive nursing services, considering both psychosocial and cognitive needs of patients.
• Coordinate care among healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Administer medications, including non-titratable cardiac drips and other necessary treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required.
• NV RN license is required prior to start.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Ability to pass a telemetry competency exam is essential; failure may result in contract termination.
