Registered Nurse - Surgery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgery will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the surgical setting. The RN will work closely with the surgical team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during surgical procedures.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operations.
- Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and recovery processes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active nursing license verification.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation.
- Additional personal health requirements such as COVID-19 vaccine, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB test, and others as required.
