Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) - Per Diem
Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to join our team on a per diem basis. This role requires availability for up to 3 shifts per month and involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest standards of care
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Active nursing license verification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification
- Experience in CVOR preferred
