Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (RN ED)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN ED) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency setting. This role requires a strong ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and care in compliance with hospital policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active nursing license verification.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
