American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position at a hospital in Reno, NV, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and an active NV RN license.

• Hospital-based position in the Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract assignments with no blocked scheduling allowed
• Uses Epic for EMR charting
• Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required

• Active NV RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required
• AHA-issued certifications required
• CPI certification required for behavioral/psych patients
• Epic EMR experience preferred, with training available during orientation or option to test out

• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers before starting a new contract, regardless of prior contract length or extensions
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application as contract end dates will not be extended to accommodate RTO
• First-time travelers may be considered but must apply for state licensure promptly upon offer if they have never held a temporary or permanent license
