This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 3x12, Days. May be required to float to other maternal units, postpartum, and NICU.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery department. The ideal candidate will work in a high-paced environment, providing care and support for high-risk obstetric patients. Responsibilities will include direct patient care, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and ensuring high standards of care are met.
- Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
- Provide support and education to expectant mothers and families.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
- Perform fetal monitoring and intervene as necessary.
- Current NV State RN license required prior to start.
- NRP, BLS, ACLS certifications are required; STABLE certification preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery at a high-risk facility.
- Prior travel experience is required.
