American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room/General Surgery position requiring an active NV RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.

• Work in the General Surgical Unit/Surgery General department
• Weekday schedule, 4 days a week, with a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic for charting, with training provided during orientation or option to test out

• Active NV RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required; CPI required for Behavioral/Psych roles
• Minimum 2 years of experience in General Surgery/OR specialty required
• Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required prior to consideration
• Epic EMR experience preferred, with training or test-out option available at orientation

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a general surgical unit setting
• Requesting time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as it cannot be added at the end of the contract
• A 13-week break is required between assignments for returning travelers
• Coverage required for a minimum of 2 major holidays
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Kronos is used for timekeeping
