RMA Coordinator I at Legrand will perform basic and routine inspection of products manufactured or processed by private companies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and will perform inspection duties quickly and efficiently following departmental and company policies.
The role is part of the Data, Power & Control Team. RMA Coordinator I is expected to promote a positive attitude, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity and exercise confidentiality.
What Will You Do?- Perform routine inspection tasks independently.
- Conduct PCA/part/subassembly/finished product build and quality validation sampling.
- Perform quality inspection audits to IPC 610A standard on printed circuit boards, soldering, lead‑free connections, fillet criteria, cleanliness and failure modes.
- Conduct product tests to determine approval or rejection and write reports of examination.
- Identify and disposition non‑conforming parts, assemblies and finished goods.
- Perform quality audits of various types.
- Troubleshoot and isolate physical and functional product defects.
- Work in a safe manner; report repairs or safety concerns to management.
- Maintain compliance with all ISO regulations and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of experience and knowledge of PDU product and Server Technology quality standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production assembly and/or test validation.
- Ability to read and interpret orthographic drawings.
- Familiarity with mechanical measurement equipment and tooling.
- Ability to understand and apply corrective and preventive actions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to provide information across multiple groups.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Strong organizational and planning skills; independent work ability.
- Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- Job Knowledge – competent in required job skills and knowledge; minimal supervision; uses resources effectively.

Work environment is fast‑paced, with frequent standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 pounds routinely, occasionally up to 40 pounds).
