QA technicians are responsible for verifying the quality of our products, monitoring the effectiveness of our processes, managing non‑conformances, and conducting internal audits. They are expected to drive continual improvement of product quality and regulatory compliance.
This position is a safety‑sensitive role; a lapse of attention could adversely affect the safety of others.
Starting Pay: $30.31/hour + $1.50 Shift Differential
Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Product and Process Verification
- Verify packaging, product quality, and manufacturing processes
- Perform testing on finished product samples and work‑in‑progress samples
- Review and confirm accuracy of line monitoring records
- Conduct regular Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices inspections
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with front‑line associates to promote awareness
- Continuously seek and implement best practices to strengthen culture
- Submit quality metrics to leadership (e.g., product mean and Cpk values, process completion and failure rates)

Minimum Requirements
- 1 year in food manufacturing quality control OR 3 years in manufacturing quality control OR 5 years in food manufacturing
- Fluent in English (verbal, written, reading)
- Proficient in algebraic math
- Proficient with computer software and data entry
- GED / high‑school diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Chemistry, or Food Sciences
- Ability to present results to an audience of 5–15 individuals
- Proficient in statistical process control
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate
- Familiarity with FDA regulations
- Experience with LDMS
- Completion of a minimum of one skill block signed off
- Good standing with the company (no written warnings or higher)
- Interview following the standard process
- Training Period: Ability to work on the day shift during training; schedule may vary
