Quality Technician

Quality Technician at a premier medical device manufacturer in Salt Lake City, UT. Pay: $26.80/hour. Shift: 8:00 AM .

• Cataloging and documenting returned complaint devices and products
• Photographing devices as received and decontaminating used medical devices
• Conducting initial visual assessments and documenting findings in the complaint database
• Writing effective reports on preliminary investigations
• Performing basic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product testing (leak tests, flow tests, basic measurements)
• Communicating professionally with internal and external customers
• Following cGMP guidelines and maintaining high standards of organization and detail
• Assisting Quality Engineers with special projects and investigations

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least 2+ years in a similar quality function working with medical devices
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to read product specifications and test procedures accurately
• Knowledge of cGMP and basic math skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer operations;
  Trackwise experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle used and contaminated devices safely
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for 80% of the day
