Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector
Full Time, M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, overtime as needed
Location
The Role
Ensure products meet strict quality standards by performing precise inspections and measurements throughout production, from the floor through packing and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to ensure accurate quality assessments
- Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001
- Identify defects or deviations from quality standards in production and prior to packing/shipping
- Collect data related to product measurements, defect rates, and process performance
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and improve overall quality systems
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, measurement results, and audit reports
- Manage kits/accessories for product
- Track KPIs (key process indicators) by project, panel type, function, and related metrics
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to speak Spanish

Required qualifications:
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001)
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with interpreting engineered drawings and production documentation
- Ability to perform quality audits and utilize data collection methods for analysis and reporting
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of manufacturing processes and basic math skills for accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail and analysis skills for identifying defects and ensuring product compliance
- Understanding of the corrective action process and fault analysis (CAPA / 8D / Failure Analysis)
- U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and/or maintaining a DoD Security Clearance
