Research Scientist I – Bioanalytical Science 1 – Reno, NV Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist (Bioanalytical) for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, NV. The role involves conducting nonclinical and clinical bioanalytical studies of varying complexity, including study management, data interpretation, reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The candidate will serve as a primary scientific contact for key clients and provide onsite support for specialty studies.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in a scientific discipline;
Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred. - Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in contract research, academia, or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for study types, Testing Facility SOPs, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) and laboratory calculations.
- Experience with design and optimization of ligand binding assays, including ELISA, MSD, or Gyrolab platforms.
The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000 annually USD. Salaries vary within the range based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
