Job Summary
We are seeking a Research Technician Assistant for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, Nevada
.
As a Research Technician Assistant
, you will care for different species of animals at our state‑of‑the‑art safety sites. You will perform clinical observations, blood collection, drug dosing, and accurate data collection and reporting.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)
- 0‑6 months related experience in animal research and/or husbandry preferred.
- Ability to handle common laboratory animal species.
- Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice regulations preferred.
- Enjoys working within a team
- Has the ability to work in a fast‑paced and challenging environment
- Pays attention to detail
- Dependable
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to think on your feet
Training schedule: 6 months, Monday‑Friday from 7:00 am PT to 4:00 pm PT. After completion, you will be assigned to either Tuesday‑Saturday or Sunday‑Thursday, 7:00 am‑4:00 pm PT. This is a full‑time opportunity.
CompensationThe pay for this position is $22.00 USD per hour.
