Suite Attendant (Part-Time Seasonal) at Greater Nevada Field

Pay Range: $14.00 to $14.00

Job Summary

This position is a seasonal, event-based role, with a duration from April-September.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the suite or premium space; take food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. As needed, demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens.
  • Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others. Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
  • Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
  • Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
  • Ensure that the suite or premium space is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, fire extinguishers, telephones, including chafers, inductions, beverage machines, soup wells and coffee machines.
  • Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid alcohol servers' permit.
