Prep Cook

The Cooks Helper is responsible for food preparation, cleaning, and basic cooking tasks in the kitchen for the daily production of their outlet.

Duties:

* Prepares high quality and consistent food products for his/her assigned outlet.

* Works in close conjunction with Room Chef and Master Cooks to maintain proper par stocks, inventory control, and quality of purchased goods.

* Checks the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and immediately reports any damaged or broken equipment to management.

* Follows all sanitation procedures as set by the company, maintaining the highest degree of cleanliness and organization within their outlet.

* Ensures all safety standards are followed and reports on all unsafe conditions to management.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma, G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship preferred.

* Background specialized in quality cuisine is preferred.

* Previous work experience as a Kitchen Helper or a similar role in the food industry.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

* Basic food preparation and handling skills.

* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
