• Read and write English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, labels, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds; frequently lift up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

• Manage store section, receive, stock, and price merchandise; check product date codes and maintain rotation.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in interior, exterior, and parking areas.
• Operate a cash register, receive payments, make change, process refunds, and verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers; load purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and supplies.
