Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer‑ and product‑focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques, communicating product knowledge, recommending merchandise selections, and locating or obtaining merchandise based on customer needs.
  • Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintains pricing and visual standards.
  • Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by Management.
  • Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance.
  • Promotes MAPS principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni‑channel experience.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Ensures a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, and security practices.
  • Reinforces buying decisions at checkout and achieves add‑on goals including gift card sales.
  • Sings up clients for the reward program; builds and maintains a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobe management.
  • Knows current product fit and style assortment offerings in store and online.
  • Maintains consistent client communication via clienteling tools:
    Style Connect and Customer Book.
  • Supports replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
  • Assists with locate fulfillment.
  • Assists with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc.
  • Assists with boutique cleanliness and organization.
  • Promotes inclusive, collaborative problem solving.
  • Seeks personal development opportunities and solicits feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Age: 16+ for AZ, GA, , IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, VA; 18+ for all other states.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Regular attendance essential; flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays required.
Physical Requirements
  • Constant walking/standing – 67–100 % of an 8‑hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs – 1–33 % of an 8‑hour shift.
  • Frequent climbing – 34–66 % of an 8‑hour shift.

The wage range for this position is $12.00 to $15.00 per hour. Successful candidates’ wage rates are determined based on their qualifications.
