As a Store Leader at Pet Smart, you will oversee the well-being of our associates and pets, ensuring a top-notch experience for our pet parents and maintaining operational excellence. This role requires exceptional leadership to foster the company culture, drive strategies, achieve performance goals, and deliver outstanding service.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• People Leadership: Lead recruitment, hiring, coaching, and development of a strong team. Foster open communication and engagement, and ensure all associates feel valued.

  Enhance pet parent satisfaction through outstanding interactions and care for pets. Maintain a clean, safe environment while promoting a culture of exceptional service.
• Business Management: Drive financial outcomes through strong operational execution. Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement while managing expenses effectively.

• 4-6 years of experience in retail leadership or a customer-focused environment.
• Availability to work full time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong proficiency in computer applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• This role requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Exposure to live animals and a bustling retail environment.
