Manhattan Deli-Host​/Cashier; Shift Varies

Position Overview

We are hiring for the Manhattan Deli team at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. Host/Cashiers greet and seat guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently with a smile.

Full‑time position with varied shift availability.

• Greet and seat guests upon their arrival.
• Count and ring in all guests.
• Clean register and entrance area.
• Seat guests meeting their desire for a booth or a table while taking into account proper station rotation.
• Manage wait list, taking into account any reservations.
• Answer phones and take reservations.
• Take payments from guests and ensure proper cash handling techniques.
• Assist guests with all needs while exceeding their expectations.
• Increase revenue through proper upselling of beer, wine, and alcohol.
• Decrease expenses through proper handling of product.
• Adhere to grooming standards (no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors).
• Maintain a positive professional image and courteous attitude.
• Inform supervisor of all guest concerns and comments.
• Show willingness to work as part of a team.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• 6 months of previous cash handling experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of proper phone etiquette.
• Ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification.

• Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
