Job SummaryThe Inventory Lead supports the Inventory Manager/Supervisor and dispensary staff, maintaining accurate inventory control measures, leading teams, and ensuring alignment between physical and system quantities.
Duties and Responsibilities- Support retail operations, maintaining inventory accuracy through stock level management, variances, storage, and menu updates.
- Perform inventory counts, weekly audits, and necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all inventory is stored and secured.
- Participate in physical stock flow for order processing.
- Report irregularities to the Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
- Check menus to ensure they are up‑to‑date and accurate.
- Provide regular reporting per internal operations and state requirements.
- Ensure products are stocked on the sales floor and ready for purchase.
- Communicate variance issues or missing information that would affect inventory ordering.
- Hold the team to high standards, ensuring fluid communication with praise and feedback.
- Maintain store appearance, including restrooms, ensuring cleanliness and guest readiness.
- Must stay current with all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
- Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience1–3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, and/or a cannabis retail setting.

No direct reports.
Working Conditions- Work primarily in a dispensary setting; environment may be odorous, loud, and temperature fluctuating.
- Frequent contact with staff, vendors, customers, law enforcement, and state inspectors.
- Use a computer for extended periods.
- Move within retail environment.
- Transport products/totes up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required.
