Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on‑site Retail Sales Consultant role located in Reno, NV. The Retail Sales Consultant will engage customers on the sales floor, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate wireless products, services, and solutions. Daily responsibilities include driving retail sales, explaining product features and plan options, handling transactions, and ensuring accurate documentation in store systems. The role also involves delivering a positive customer experience, addressing questions and concerns, and following up to support long‑term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The consultant will work as part of a store team, contribute to meeting sales targets, maintain merchandising standards, and adhere to company policies and AT&T brand guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability in Retail Sales and Sales Consulting to meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.
- Strong focus on Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to creating welcoming, solution‑oriented interactions.
- Proven Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and professional problem‑solving.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced retail environment, with the ability to learn and explain wireless products, services, and technology.
- Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions, inventory, and point‑of‑sale systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail, sales, or telecommunications experience is preferred but not required.
- Team‑oriented mindset, reliability, and a willingness to participate in ongoing training and performance development.
