Bakery Clerk – #67 – Reno, Nevada

Starting rate: $17.00 per hour.

El Super is a supermarket of choice for more than 25 years, offering a wide range of products with a focus on Latin American and fresh items.

• Provide excellent customer service within the bakery department.
• Assist customers with purchases, special orders, and product information.
• Keep shelves, display cases, and self‑serve displays clean, stocked, and organized.
• Work with the Baker to determine items needing baking or decoration.
• Help with prop cleanliness, including hosing down floors with soap and water.
• Follow all safety and food‑handler protocols.
• Stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds as required.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense to detailed written or oral instructions.
• Physical readiness to lift 25‑60 lbs.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
