Multi-Purpose Clerk

We are currently recruiting for the position of Multi-Purpose Clerk. This role is integral to providing excellent guest experience across various departments.

• Center Store/Front End – Operate the check stand, memorize PLU codes, handle stock, merchandise, point‑of‑sale (POS), and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect, log, trim, wash, wrap produce; maintain floral area; keep department clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect, log; weigh, wrap, and label products; provide service at the counter; operate slicers and wrappers; keep area clean.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect, log; prepare, package, and label goods; take special orders; operate ovens, proofers, slicers, and mixers; keep area clean.
• Janitorial – Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across sales floor, back room, refrigerated areas, restrooms, office areas, and parking lot; operate janitorial equipment.
• Valley Fresh – Receive, inspect, log; cut, trim, wash, juice, and package produce; keep area clean.
• Restaurant – Operate the register, take orders, serve guests, maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping sales floor, front end, back rooms, and refrigerated areas.
• May operate forklift if authorized and certified.
• May operate baler if authorized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hiring Pay Range: $14.00 - $21.60

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent guest service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.
• High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or equivalent job experience.
• At least six months of grocery retail related experience.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours.

• Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis.
• Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
