Position: (USA) Stocking 2 Coach

Position Summary

  • Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tours stores and provides feedback to associates.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Communicates business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs.
  • Ensures customer needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved.
  • Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and leads process improvement to deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
  • Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Manages merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes.
  • Develops and executes action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring and assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and recognizing employee contributions.
  • Promotes a culture of belonging and a collaborative workplace.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, mission values, and ethical standards.
  • Builds high‑performing teams, embraces differences, and creates an inclusive environment.
  • Attracts and retains top talent, empowers employees, and recognizes accomplishments.
  • Acts with integrity, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For firearms‑selling facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements: a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
  • Completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
  • Other relevant experience and skills as deemed appropriate.
