The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will take ownership of developing strong acquisition channels, evaluating preowned vehicles, and driving inventory growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and creating structure where it’s needed. You will play a key part in shaping how Audi Reno Tahoe acquires vehicles now and into the future.
Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Acquisition
- Identify and develop acquisition opportunities across service traffic, private sellers, digital platforms, and inbound leads.
- Conduct accurate, data-driven appraisals using market tools and in-person inspections.
- Build efficient workflows to improve acquisition volume, appraisal consistency, and customer engagement.
- Foster trusted relationships with guests and community partners to encourage trade-ins and direct purchases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align acquisition focus with inventory strategy.
- Oversee the dealership’s upcomingleaseend portfolio, proactively contacting guests at key milestones.
- Provide consultative guidance on lease-end options: trade-in, buyout, early termination, or new vehicle upgrade.
- Coordinate appraisals and inspections for lease return vehicles.
- Develop communication and followup processes designed to improve retention and customer experience.
- Partner with sales and service teams to ensure a smooth transition for returning Audi guests.
- Automotive sales, appraisal, acquisition, or lease portfolio experience preferred.
- Strong initiative with a track record of taking ownership and building processes.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with dealership leadership.
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with appraisal tools (KBB, vAuto, Trade Pending) and CRM systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
