We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Virtual Sales Specialist.
The Virtual Sales Specialist implements the client's marketing plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers. In the assigned territory, the VSS will plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action. Administration of territory information and compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements is imperative.
Responsibilities- Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers to deliver effective sales presentations.
- Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to HCPs and office staff using educational resources and support materials virtually.
- Engage HCPs to educate, identify patients, and qualify leads.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with HCPs and office staff.
- Develop deep product & competitor knowledge, as well as understanding local & regional market trends for virtual territory.
- Support office staff by ensuring they have appropriate tools and approved materials to enable compliant product education and engagement.
- Complete a pre-call plan as well as a post call analysis that allows for optimal activity and appropriate record keeping.
- Enable compliant sampling of products through e-signature capabilities.
- Use disease state, product and market knowledge, analyze data and compliantly engage with potential customer accounts to prospect new leads.
- BA/BS minimum degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in rare disease
- 1+ years of demonstrated success in a virtual/inside sales environment, with experience conducting educational sessions with HCPs
- Proven ability to drive business outcomes & meet/exceed sales & engagement metrics
- Ability to learn quickly & apply disease state & product knowledge to promote products in a highly compliant manner
- Self-motivated, results-driven, & highly organized
- Strong CRM proficiency and comfort with digital sales tools
- Expert selling skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
May require occasional travel to National or Regional Sales Meetings.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $80-87k. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
