Build Your Territory. Create Opportunities. Grow Your Career.
Advanced IPM is a family-owned pest management company serving businesses throughout California and Nevada since 1981. We are looking for a motivated Commercial Account Manager (CAM) to develop new commercial business and grow an assigned territory with the training, technology, mentorship, and support of an established company behind them.
WHAT YOU'LL DOThis is a true outside sales and business-development role where most opportunities are self-generated. You will prospect, build relationships, meet with decision-makers, inspect properties, identify customer needs, develop pest-management solutions, prepare proposals, and grow long-term commercial relationships.
- Generate new opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, Linked In, industry events, and in-person prospecting.
- Drive throughout an assigned territory to meet prospects and customers and conduct site inspections.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, research prospects, prepare proposals, and complete account setup documentation.
- Communicate professionally in person, by phone, email, and text, and use technology and AI tools to stay organized and productive.
- Partner with service and support teams to ensure accurate handoffs and a strong customer experience.
Success in this role comes from consistent prospecting, disciplined follow-up, strong relationships, and accountability.
Our strongest CAMs are self-motivated, persistent, organized, resilient, and accountable. They are comfortable creating opportunities, handling rejection without losing momentum, and building strong professional relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email and text communication.
- Consistent follow-up, organization, and attention to detail with proposals, CRM records, and account setup.
- Comfort with CRM systems, computers, mobile technology, and AI tools.
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and use the training and resources available.
- Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to measurable goals.
Pest-control experience is helpful but not required. We provide training to help the right person learn our industry, services, and solutions.
COMPENSATIONBase salary: $42,000-$54,960 annually.
Uncapped Commission:
This position is eligible to participate in Advanced IPM's applicable sales commission plan. Commission earnings vary based on qualifying sales, individual performance, and the terms of the plan.
Performance bonuses:
Additional monthly, quarterly, and annual performance bonus opportunities may be available based on established performance criteria and the terms of the applicable plan.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Paid training and ongoing sales mentorship
- 401(k) with employer match
- Career growth opportunities
- Term and wholelife insurance
- Continuing education and leadership development
- Vacation and holiday pay
- Company vehicle and cell phone
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain the required pest-control license within 120 days of hire.
- Comfort driving extensively throughout an assigned territory.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and technology skills.
- Ability to participate in customer meetings, networking events, or other business activities outside standard business hours.
Sales at Advanced IPM is performance-driven and collaborative. Our CAMs share knowledge, support one another, and partner with service and support teams to deliver a strong customer experience.
