Student Worker – Latino Research Center (LRC)

The Latino Research Center (LRC) at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Student Worker to manage social media and promotional content for LRC events and initiatives. The position supports the Director, Program Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant, and may attend team meetings as needed.

• Revise, update, and maintain website requests to Mar Com.
• Revise, update, and maintain the LRC Instagram account.
• Revise, update, and maintain the LRC Facebook account.
• Explore additional media platforms for potential use.
• Support LRC and related partnership initiatives.

• Enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
• Proven skills in the use of social media.
• Proficiency in Social Media Management.
• Knowledgeable in marketing strategies for outreach increase.

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) in speaking and writing.

• Expected hours: 20 per week.
• Grade:
  Student Employee Level 1 Exempt.
