Unarmed Security Officer

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team at our client s site in Mason/Yerington area of Nevada. The security guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the facilities. This role will mainly consist of vehicle patrol.

Pay: $21-24/hour (regular) +1 hour travel time per shift

Schedule: 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week

• Patrol in vehicle the premises regularly to ensure the security of the site.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as trespassing or loitering, and apprehend or evict them from the premises if necessary.
• Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual incidents.
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conduct periodic checks of equipment and systems such as lighting, gates, and fences to ensure they are operational and secure.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies if needed.
• Maintain accurate records and write detailed incident reports.

• Must possess a valid Driver s License and may be required to submit a copy of their driving record.
• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred.
• Valid registration card from Nevada s private investigator licensing board.
• Ability to operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physical ability to patrol the premises on foot and respond to incidents quickly.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

• Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED is a plus.
• Prior experience in security for industrial sites or solar farms.

• This position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs.
