As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, document activities, and assist staff and visitors with professional customer service, bringing our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture to every interaction.

- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in compliance with licensing requirements, post orders, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation, requesting medical assistance, and coordinating with law enforcement and/or public agency partners as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or trespassing.
- Monitor and report security-related concerns, hazards, and suspicious activity through detailed documentation, radio communications, and use of access control and camera systems as assigned.
- Have 1+ years armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Hold an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
- Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
