Job Location:

Reno (12834) – Reno, NV 89502. Salary Range: $23.00–$23.75 per hour.

• Greeting guests as they enter the bank.
• Observing, documenting and reporting incidents.
• Enforcing laws and policies as directed.
• Providing customer service.
• Monitoring operability of vertical conveyances and intervening to terminate actions potentially injurious to persons or property.
• Recognizing and appropriately responding to persons in crisis.
• Responding to sick or injured persons.
• Responding to safety hazards, equipment malfunctions such as escalators and liquid spills, and other maintenance‑related issues.
• Responding to events that may require partial or full evacuations.
• Monitoring video and alarms.
• Collaborating with other security officers, law enforcement and emergency services.

• U.S. person as defined by 22 USC §6010.
• Twenty‑one years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• No criminal history that renders the security officer unsuitable for the position.
• A permanent Nevada State Armed Guard License.
• Ability to write detailed, accurate reports in English.
• Ability to read, understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions and training materials in English.
• Ability to recognize situations or individuals who may pose a threat.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle situations under stressful conditions.
• Ability to follow directions without hesitation under stressful conditions.
• Ability to handle verbally disruptive or abusive people professionally.
• For persons with military service, no discharge that renders the position unsuitable.
• Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified (adult and pediatric).

High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable. Speak, read, and write English. All assigned personnel should exhibit high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment. Must hold all necessary licenses, permits and certifications required by the state.
