Job Schedule:

Day  Time      Mon  07:45 AM - 05:45 PM    Fri  07:45 AM - 05:45 PM    Sat  07:30 AM - 04:45 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, public agencies, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Carry authorized firearms and assigned duty equipment in accordance with post orders, training, and applicable regulations while maintaining professional presence and sound judgment during patrol and response duties.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in line with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
